A simple message for a blog.
I remind God that it's zero fun on this planet, most days. My blood runs cold when innocent school children become victims of ruthless killers or yet another baby is sucked into a bottle from a womb - alive. Events like this grind on me like corn pressed into flour.
In finding what matters the most and trying to live as a Christian in a world of upheaval, we return to the one of our focus for comfort. Live close to your SAVIOR with his offer to "Come to ME", and days become marked by freedom and happiness (maybe a few giggles) - a byproduct of Jesus' purpose. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance. John 10:10
You'll have plenty of opportunities to stumble but when you do remember . . .
My God, My Rock, in Him will I take refuge; my Shield and the Horn of my salvation; my Stronghold and my Refuge, my SAVIOR (emphasis mine). 2 Samuel 22:3.
Come to ME, all you who labor and are heavy-laden, and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. Matthew 11:28
When events cause you to shake, rattle and roll in discontent,
Listen for your SAVIOR say "Come to ME" or use the same phrase to beckon Him to draw close.
Your moments of refreshment start now.

Fear can abound in our hearts everyday unless we become accustomed to recognizing its symptoms. If fear rises up within you as you go through your day; you start to worry about day-to-day events and your energy is drained by the what-ifs of life - fear NOT FAITH is dominating your life.
As a believer in Jesus Christ, you have authority over every thought and can combat fear by speaking a specific scripture related to your particular situation - fear now becomes faith - and you can continue your day in victory.
